Denise Richards Says No To Dancing With The Stars

Despite the casting rumors, Denise Richards won’t be the latest celebrity to put on her dancing shoes for “Dancing With the Stars”

“No, I am not doing ‘Dancing With the Stars,’” Denise told Access Hollywood on Sunday at a Clothes Off Our Backs charity event.

But the Denise Richards will be watching from home.

“I love the show, that is my popcorn night with my girls,” she said. “I love to watch the dancing, the girls love looking at the dresses.”

As for her own reality show, Denise said another season of “It’s Complicated” could be in the cards.

“We’re having great conversations about season two,” she told Access.

Bruce Springsteen Set For Super Bowl

Legendary rock and roller Bruce Springsteen has vowed to keep on rocking well into old age, because he’s too much of an “attention-whore” to quit showbusiness.

Springsteen, who turns 60 next year (09), has been recording and touring with his E Street Band since 1972 and will be the headliner at the Super Bowl in Tampa.

“He was just confirmed,” a spy told the New York Post. “Little Stevie (Van Zandt) has already rented out the Hard Rock Café for a party.”

A Boss rep hasn’t return calls or e-mails to the Post.

The Glory Days hitmaker insists he has no plans to pack his bags and retire from music in the near future.

He says, “I’ve got a big ego and enjoy the attention. My son has a word: attention-whore. You have to be one of those, otherwise why would you be up in front of thousands of people shaking your butt?

“When it comes down to it, I like the way it makes me feel. And the way that I can make you feel when I do it… It thrills me, it excites me, it gives me meaning, it gives me purpose.”

Joss Stone To Record Barack Obama Campaign Song

Joss Stone is writing a song backing Barack Obama’s bid to be US president.

Fan Mr Obama, 47, has asked the 21-year-old singer to record a one-off track as the theme to his election campaign.

Devon-born Joss is currently in the studio getting the song ready for November’s election battle with Republican senator John McCain.

Democrat candidate Mr Obama approached her personally because he was impressed by her appeal to both black and white voters in America.

A source said: “Joss is a big supporter of Barack Obama and was very excited to be asked to do this for him.

“He sent a personal message asking her to get on board.

“He has always admired her music and thinks she is the perfect choice because of her unique appeal to black and white voters.

“She believes he is going to be the first black American president and she is honored to be a part of that.”
